Remote Deposit Capture: One size fits all?

Posted on April 1, 2011. Filed under: Melissa Brandes |

We are always hearing business owners say that they need more time and money.  Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) enables businesses to transmit images of their checks through the use of a scanner and internet connection; saving them a trip to the bank.  But, when we mention RDC to a small business owner, we often hear that RDC isn’t right for them.  They think it was made for larger corporations that receive hundreds of checks each day.  In reality, small businesses are great candidates for RDC because typically they will only visit a branch once or twice each week.  With RDC they would be able to make daily deposits, which in turn would give the business owner access to their funds more quickly, improving cash flow.  With RDC they no longer have to add the checks, create a deposit ticket, copy the checks and bring them to the bank.  The deposit can be made right from their office and images are stored in the system for 7 years.

Denmark State Bank offers tiered pricing, making RDC affordable for any size business.  We also have a variety of scanners that will fit the needs of any business including a new, very affordable scanner made specifically for small business customers.

Remote Deposit Capture can help business owners achieve that ultimate goal of saving time and money!

We have been working with the Remote Deposit Capture since May of 2008. The next day avaialability is king for us. We just love our little “bread box”, although it is much smaller than a bread box 🙂
